The North American T-6 Texan is an American, single-engine, all-metal, low-wing trainer aircraft of World War II. Also known by the designations SNJ and Harvard. The prototype first flew in 1935. It was one of the most widely produced (over 15,000 units) trainers in Allied service. Technical data: length: 8.84 m, wingspan: 12.81 m, height: 3.57 m, maximum speed: 335 km/h, rate of climb: 6.1 m/s, practical ceiling: 7300 m, maximum range: 1100 km, armament: three fixed 7.62 mm machine guns.
