Van Gisbergen, the three-time Australian Supercars champion, led the final eight laps of the historic first race through the streets of the Windy City. From behind the wheel of the No. 91 Enhance Health Chevrolet Camaro, Van Gisbergen thwarted the challenges of other competitors through an Overtime restart to earn the victory for Trackhouse Racing’s Project 91 team. With the win, Van Gisbergen became the first driver in 60 years to win a race in his first NASCAR Cup Series® start.
