The Kyosho WBD003 (also referenced as WBD-3) is an option-part Ball Differential Gear manufactured by Kyosho for their classic 1/10 scale electric off-road RC vehicles.
Unlike a standard gear differential, a ball differential uses adjustable tension across precision balls to manage power distribution between the wheels. This upgrade allowed racers to fine-tune traction and cornering performance on loose or low-grip dirt tracks, a critical tuning option for competitive RC racing during that era.
