The Sd.Kfz. 9 was the largest semi-track vehicle used by Germany during World War II. Development began in 1936 by the FAMO company, and the F3 type entered production in 1939. It was powered by a 250-horsepower Maybach HL108TUKRM engine. The vehicle was produced in several variants for different purposes.
