Special Hobby 1:72 Gloster Meteor T Mk 7.5 Plastic Model Kit

The Special Hobby 72317 is a 1:72 scale plastic scale model kit of the Gloster Meteor T Mk 7.5 "Large Tail Trainer". Released in 2014, this static aircraft kit replicates a rare variant of the classic British jet trainer that featured the larger, squared-off tail from the more modern Mk 8 fighter version.

• Plastic Sprues: Five total frames (three standard grey styrene sprues for the airframe, and two clear sprues containing the canopy and optional reconnaissance nose parts).
• Detail Parts: Includes specialised resin detail parts for finer precision.
• Decal Markings: A multi-coloured waterslide decal sheet with markings for four distinct historical aircraft:
  • Gloster Company Demonstration Aircraft: An overall blue civil registration machine (G-AKPK) featuring white stripes and non-standard wing-tip fuel tanks.
  • Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE): An overall dark blue British test machine equipped with the unique reconnaissance nose.
  • Belgian Air Force: A silver aircraft accented with yellow trimmings.
  • Israeli Air Force: A camouflaged training machine carrying the name "Ef'eh" (Viper) on its nose.
• Assembly Requirements: Unassembled and unpainted; plastic glue, tools, and paints are required and sold separately.
