The Special Hobby 1:32 Westland Whirlwind FB MK.I 'Fighter-Bomber' (SH32088) is a premium, Hi-Tech multi-media static scale model kit released in 2023. It represents the distinct twin-engine Royal Air Force fighter-bomber variant utilized during World War II.

Kit Features & Specifications:
  • Scale: 1:32 (Highly detailed, large-scale twin-engine aircraft).
  • Hi-Tech Multimedia Upgrades: Includes ten injection-moulded styrene sprues alongside 3D-printed parts, resin enhancements, and photo-etched detail frets.
  • Exposed Gun Bay: The kit features dedicated parts to completely replicate the nose section's 2020 layout, allowing builders to leave the panels off and showcase the four formidable 20mm Hispano cannons.
  • Cockpit Fidelity: Highly detailed cockpit configuration upgraded with resin and photo-etched pieces.
  • Marking Options: Includes high-quality decal sheets for four distinct RAF camouflage narratives, including No. 263 Squadron ("Bellows") and No. 137 Squadron, covering Mixed Grey and standard Day Fighter schemes.

This kit requires an advanced or experienced scale modeler due to its limited-run nature, complex fit adjustments, and intricate sub-assemblies.
