Revell 1:24 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2

In 1964, an attractively designed coupe specially developed for young drivers was presented to the public at the World Fair in New York and delighted visitors. On the first day of sales, the 8,000 models available had already been sold and a further 22,000 orders placed. Initially offered only as a classic coupe and convertible, the 2+2 Fastback, a hatchback coupe, followed in 1965.

All three types were offered with various engine options, including a 289 cubic inch (4.7-liter) eight-cylinder engine producing up to 275 horsepower. The top speed of the long-running Mustang 2 +2 fastback was around 189 mph, with 0 to 100 acceleration in 9.0 seconds.
