Humbrol Gloss Cote (AC5501) is a 28ml solvent-based clear gloss enamel varnish designed to go on clear and dry to a smooth, high-sheen finish without yellowing over time.
- Finish: Dries to a smooth, high-sheen gloss finish.
- Drying Time: Surface dry within 1 hour; fully cured and ready for recoating or further handling after 24 hours.
- Substrates: Safe for common model kit plastics like polystyrene and ABS, as well as MDF.
- Application: Can be applied via paintbrush or airbrush (thin with Humbrol Enamel Thinners when airbrushing).
- Safety Note: This is a flammable, solvent-based hydrocarbon mixture. Always use it outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, avoid breathing the vapours, and wear protective gloves.
