The Frateschi HO Scale Pacific National Train Pack is an entry-level Australian model railway set that replicates modern intermodal freight operations. It features the iconic blue and yellow livery of Pacific National, one of Australia's largest rail freight operators.
NB: The model should be handled carefully as it has many finely detailed parts, which are easily breakable.
Pack Contents & Specifications:
- Locomotive: 1 x General Electric C30-7 diesel locomotive in Pacific National blue and yellow livery.
- Rolling Stock: 3 x Shared bogie container wagons (intermodal flatcars).
- Freight: 6 x Assorted, undecorated shipping containers to load onto the wagons.
- Scale: HO Scale (1:87), running on standard 16.5mm track gauge.
- Control System: DC Analogue only (not DCC digital out-of-the-box).
- Couplers: Standard European hook-and-loop / loop-style couplers (can be retrofitted to knuckle couplers if desired).
- Requirements: Beginners need a separate basic oval track pack and a 12V DC controller.
