The Frateschi HO Scale "The Ghan" Train Pack is an entry-level Australian model railway set modeling Australia's legendary transcontinental passenger service. This HO gauge (1:87 scale) pack features the distinctive silver and red livery complete with official "The Ghan" logos.
NB: The model should be handled carefully as it has many finely detailed parts, which are easily breakable.
Pack Contents & Specifications:
- 1 x General Electric C30 Locomotive (Road number NR74 / L254, DC analogue, 12V operation).
- 1 x Streamlined Sleeper Car.
- 1 x Streamlined First Class Car.
- 1 x Streamlined Dining Car.
- Scale: HO Scale (1:87), running on standard 16.5mm track gauge.
- Control System: DC Analogue only (not DCC digital out-of-the-box).
- Couplers: Standard European hook-and-loop / loop-style couplers (can be retrofitted to knuckle couplers if desired).
- Requirements: Beginners need a separate basic oval track pack and a 12V DC controller.
