Frateschi HO G-22CU DC New Zealand Blue

Frateschi produce a range of 'look-alike' NZ Locomotives and Rolling Stock in popular colour schemes like NZR Red/Maroon, Fruit Salad, Tranz Rail and KiwiRail. They cater from the 1920's to the KiwiRail era. Famous trains like the early 'Kingston Flyer' and the 'Tranz Alpine' can be modelled.

Frateschi trains are HO Scale (1:87) and run on OO/HO gauge track (16.5mm), such as Hornby, Peco, Bachmann, Walthers etc.

Couplers are European (Lima type) and are not compatible with Hornby/Bachmann hook-and-loop or American knuckle type. Modification to fit a Hornby/Bachmann, Kadee type or NEM pocket etc is possible, but challenging. We suggest using an adapter wagon with NEM pockets (Frateschi type coupler on one end and one matching your rolling stock on the other.)
