The Tamiya 58661 is a 1/14 scale on-road radio-controlled (R/C) assembly kit replicating the Buggyra Fat Fox Racing Truck, which competed in the 2018 European Truck Racing Championship driven by Adam Lacko. Built on the reliable and beginner-friendly TT-01 Type-E chassis, it features a shaft-driven 4WD system that offers great stability, a low centre of gravity, and easy handling for pavement racing.

  • Chassis Type: TT-01 Type-E (Evolved) bathtub frame with a fiberglass-reinforced nylon upper deck for high rigidity.
  • Drive Train: Shaft-driven full-time 4WD with front and rear bevel gear differentials.
  • Suspension: 4-wheel independent double wishbone with friction dampers.
  • Dimensions: Length: 420 mm | Width: 187 mm | Height: 188 mm | Wheelbase: 257 mm.
  • Wheels & Tires: 70 mm diameter radial tires mounted on custom black molded wheels designed specifically for Euro racing truck models.
  • Motor: Included 540-type brushed motor.

  • LED Compatibility: The rear bumper features pre-molded housings ready to accept 5 mm LEDs (sold separately in a Tamiya light unit).
  • Authentic Decals: A comprehensive sticker sheet is included to accurately recreate the sponsor logos and racing livery of the #1 championship truck.

  • Radio System: 2-channel transmitter and receiver unit.
  • Steering Servo: Standard-sized servo for steering control.
  • Electronic Speed Controller (ESC): Compatible speed controller if not bundled by your specific retailer.
  • Battery & Charger: 7.2V NiMH battery pack or a compatible 2S LiPo battery with a proper charger.
  • Paint: Tamiya PS series polycarbonate spray paint for finishing the clear body shell.
