Nissan’s Skyline has been an ambassador for high performance Japanese cars for many a year. The series, which stretches all the way back to 1957, was joined in August 1981 by the sixth generation car that included the sporty 2000 Turbo GT-E S. Possessing a sleek wedge body design and 145hp 2-liter inline-six turbo engine, its 4-wheel independent suspension had front strut and rear semi-trailing setups, disc brakes front and rear, and even switch-operated adjustable shocks with variable stiffness.
