HobbyBoss 1:35 Archer Artillery FH77BW L52 Plastic Model Kit

The Archer is a 155 mm wheeled self-propelled howitzer designed and manufactured jointly by Bofors and BAE Systems. Technical studies for the Archer were first launched in 1995. BAE Global Combat Systems fitted a 155 mm FH-77 artillery system onto the rear of a modified Volvo VME A25C (6×6) all-terrain truck chassis. Compared to a standard self-propelled howitzer, the deployment time of the Archer has been reduced from 10 minutes to just 30 seconds.

The first operational systems are expected to be delivered in October 2011, with production continuing over the following two years. Each Archer gun system will be staffed by a crew of 3 to 4, representing a major improvement over its predecessor, which was manned by 10 to 12 operators
