The HMS Terror was a warship constructed for the Royal Navy in 1813. Taking part in several battles, including the Battle of Baltimore. Following this, Terror was converted into a polar exploration ship, though was lost during Sir John Franklin’s attempt to force the Northwest Passage in 1845.
