Tamiya 1:48 Nakajima K184AIA Hayate

This plastic assembly kit depicts the Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (Allied reporting name "Frank"). This aircraft entered service in Spring of 1944 and was mainly tasked with defending the Japanese home islands from attacks by B-29s and carrier aircraft. After the war, the U.S. military evaluated the type and deemed it to be the best Japanese fighter of WWII.
