The DON-2N is an early warning radar for bailistic missile defense developed in the former Soviet Union near Moscow, Russia, and its NATO code name is 'Pill Box'. Research began in 1963 by the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering of the Soviet Academy of Sciences; this facility is shaped like the top of a square pyramid with s phased array antenna installed on each side.
