The brothers Erwin and Manfred Kremer from Cologne have always been among the best and most faithful Porsche tuners. With the arrival of the 935 Group 5, they developed a whole series of particular versions, the most famous of which is probably the K3, released in 1979. The 935 K3 has become an integral part of the history of the 935, with the victory at Le Mans in 1979 and countless successes in the World Endurance Championship, in the DRM and in the IMSA. The K3 had some refinements year after year until 1981, and became the reference 935 among racing customers. The Kremers went on modifying the 935 with the even more extreme K4, but the K3 stayed competitive, especially in the United States, for several seasons.
