The Tamiya 1/14 Volvo FH16 Globetrotter 750 8x4 Tow Truck is a highly realistic, heavy-duty RC assembly kit designed for serious recovery work. Recreating Volvo's flagship commercial truck, it features a unique 8x4 multi-axle drivetrain with a twin-steering front axle system. It uses extensive metal components for a durable, functional winch boom, underlift, and outrigger setup.

• Drivetrain & Steering: First Tamiya 1/14 truck featuring a dual front steering axle system paired with two rear drive axles (8x4 configuration).
• Chassis & Frame: Robust ladder frame constructed with aluminium side channels and resin cross members for authentic structural rigidity.
• Motor & Transmission: Powered by a front-mounted TR Mighty Tuned (35T) brushed motor running through a shiftable 3-speed transmission. 
• Towing Action: Heavy-duty metal mechanics include a manually adjustable winch boom and underlift designed to haul other 1/14 scale tractor trucks. 
• Dimensions: Measures approximately 732mm to 750mm in length, 195mm in width, and 300mm in height, weighing roughly 5.9kg when fully equipped.

• Radio System: A 4-channel stick-type transmitter and receiver (such as a self-neutral system).
• Servos: Two standard-sized servos—one for steering and one for the 3-speed gearbox.
• Electronic Speed Control (ESC): Required for motor speed and braking functionality.
• Power Source: A 7.2V NiMH or 7.4V battery pack along with a compatible charger.
