The Lockheed USN PV-1 Ventura is a medium twin-engine bomber and patrol aircraft. This plastic model kit allows you to assemble the aircraft with the bomb bay doors open or closed. It includes markings for three different aircraft:

  • PV-1 "Blonde Blitz" from an unknown unit stationed in the Russell Islands in the Solomon Sea in mid-1943
  • PV-1 "Scooters Dream" from an unknown unit also stationed in the Russell Islands in the Solomon Sea in mid-1943
  • PV-1 "641" from VB-148, known for its successful raid against Japanese vessels over Truk (Chuuk) Lagoon in July 1944

This kit is a detailed scale model for hobbyists. Glue and paint are sold separately. Contains small parts. Actual product may vary slightly from the pictures shown.
