Driven by Allan Moffat and Jacky Ickx, the #1 XC Cobra endured a dramatic 1978 Bathurst. A fiery pit stop, brake failure and gearbox issues ended its charge, forcing retirement after 81 laps in one of the races' most dramatic DNFs.
