The Yakovlev Yak-1 is a Soviet, single-engine low-wing fighter with a classic tail with a mixed design from the Second World War. The Yak-1 gave rise to a whole family of fighters (Yak-3, Yak-7, Yak-9) and with them became the basic Soviet fighter in 1941-1945.
